They have a future star in Glichrist to run the floor, and this will be his year to shine. Those same publications picked Wisconsin to finish higher than Maryland in the national rankings, but that too seems erroneous. The loss of Devin Harris is huge, and the Badgers will not be the same without him. Wisconsin have a number of newcomers on this team and they have yet to adjust to one another based on their sloppy loss last time out against Pepperdine. They'll improve on that effort with time, but Maryland are playing well right now. They have the intensity and the drive to win this one a lot easier than the pick-em (practically) spread would suggest. Take Maryland to cover, as they are a little too advanced for Wisconsin currently. Result: Pick lost.
