This gap will be emphasised and exacerbated when Duke goes on the road, as they travel poorly, whereas Wake Forest have played some great games before their fans.
The Demon Deacons were beaten by only 3 points last week against no less a team than Florida State, and they also covered against Virginia Tech in their only other home loss. Their defense is excellent, and they will stifle Duke, who have moved the ball well. This should enable the floodgates to open by the third quarter, and Wake Forest will pull away. The only question is by how much. Because it is Duke and a big ACC rivalry we feel that there will be no mercy, and Wake Forest should win this by 20+ points.
