Asian handicaps explained

This way of betting is very popular in Asia. The frase "handicap" itself means that one of the teams has been given a head start in goals before the match is even started (this is usually done when weaker teams play big favorites).

The most important characteristics of betting with asian handicap is that you eliminate the possibility of a draw. You can only bet on home or away win. If the game ends in a draw, you get your stake back.

As we said, when there is a "clean" asian handicap(0) - (0), (1) - (0), (0) - (1), in case of a draw, you get your stake back. But when handicap is in decimal numbers (1/2, 1/4, 3/4) things get more complicated.

0:0 - 50% +50% Legija won 0 - 1/4 - you got 50% of your stake back - 50 Euro (same thing happens with any other draw)
1:0 + 100% - 100% Arsenal won 1 - 1/4 - you lose 100 Euro
0:1 - 100% + 100% Legija won 0 - 1 1/4 - you get 200 Euro
2:0 +100% - 100% Arsenal won 2 - 1/4 - you lose 100 Euro
